INGREDIENTS
100 g Rolled oats (Dry weight.)
2 medium, cored and diced (320 g) Apple
2 large, about 110 g Egg
150 ml Skimmed milk
20 g Raisins
2 tsp (14 g) Honey
24 g, roughly broken Pecans
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp (4 g) Baking powder
A pinch Salt

METHOD

2. Stir in the oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, raisins and most of the apple.
3. Scrape into a 20 cm ovenproof dish, scatter the rest of the apple and the pecans over the top and bake for 30 minutes until set in the middle and brown at the edges.
4. Cool for ten minutes, then cut in two.

Contains gluten cereals, milk, eggs and tree nuts.
Oats count as a gluten cereal under UK labelling and ordinary oats are milled alongside wheat. Certified gluten-free oats are a separate ingredient here.

RECIPE NOTES
Makes two. The second half keeps three days in the fridge and is good cold, or back in the microwave for a minute.
The pecans are the fat. At 690 kcal per 100 g they are about 83 kcal a serving here, so weigh them rather than scattering a handful.
