Chocolate Orange Whey Overnight Oats
Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS
40 g Rolled oats (Dry weight.)
2 tsp (6 g) Cocoa powder
1 scoop, about 30 g Whey protein isolate (Values for an unflavoured or lightly flavoured isolate. A concentrate or a blend carries more fat and carbohydrate at the same scoop.)
150 ml Skimmed milk
50 g Greek yogurt, 0% fat
1 medium, segmented (130 g) Orange (Peeled weight.)
To taste, if needed Granulated sweetener

METHOD
1. Whisk the cocoa and whey into the milk and yogurt in a jar with a fork until smooth. Grate a little of the orange zest in.
2. Stir in the oats, put the lid on and leave in the fridge overnight.
3. In the morning, taste it, add sweetener only if it needs it, and lay the orange segments on top.

Contains gluten cereals and milk.
Oats count as a gluten cereal under UK labelling and ordinary oats are milled alongside wheat. Certified gluten-free oats are a separate ingredient here.
Most whey powders contain soya lecithin, which counts as soya. Check the tub.

RECIPE NOTES
Cocoa and whey both clump if the oats go in first. Whisk them into the liquid until smooth, then add the oats.
Cocoa powder is bitter and the whey is the only sweetness unless it is a flavoured one. Taste before adding sweetener, not after.
