Kale Crisps with Nutritional Yeast and Paprika
Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS
100 g Kale
A scant 2 tsp (7 g) Olive oil
1 tbsp, about 5 g Nutritional yeast
Half a tsp Smoked paprika
A pinch Salt

METHOD
1. Heat the oven to 150°C. Strip the kale from its stalks, wash it and dry it completely.
2. Tear into pieces and massage the oil in, then toss with the yeast, paprika and salt so the leaves are dusted.
3. Spread over two trays in a single layer and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes, turning once, until crisp.
4. Leave on the trays for five minutes. They finish crisping as they cool.

Check ingredient packaging for allergen information.

RECIPE NOTES
Nutritional yeast tastes somewhere between parmesan and a savoury biscuit, and a tablespoon is 18 kcal.
The seasoning goes on before baking here, unlike the vinegar version, because the flakes need wet oil to stick to.
