Melon, Cucumber and Mint Yogurt Smoothie
Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS
200 g Cantaloupe melon (Flesh only.)
80 g Cucumber
150 g Greek yogurt, 0% fat
Half a scoop (15 g) Whey protein isolate (Values for an unflavoured or lightly flavoured isolate. A concentrate or a blend carries more fat and carbohydrate at the same scoop.)
A small handful of leaves Fresh mint
Juice of half a lime Lime juice
A handful Ice

METHOD
1. Cut the melon into chunks and the cucumber into rounds, skin on.
2. Blend the yogurt and whey with the lime first for ten seconds.
3. Add the melon, cucumber, mint and ice and blend for thirty seconds until it is smooth and frothy. Drink straight away; it separates within a few minutes.

Contains milk.
Most whey powders contain soya lecithin, which counts as soya. Check the tub.

RECIPE NOTES
Melon and cucumber are mostly water, so 280 g of them is 72 kcal. The yogurt and the half-scoop of whey are what make it a breakfast rather than a drink.
A ripe cantaloupe smells of melon at the stalk end. One that smells of nothing tastes of nothing blended.
