Ham and Cheddar Ploughman's Plate
Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS
30 g Cheddar
40 g Lean ham, sliced (Cooked deli weight, as sold.)
60 g, about a third of a medium apple Apple
30 g Gherkins
1 stick, about 40 g Celery
1 tsp (6 g) Wholegrain mustard

METHOD
1. Cut the cheese into a few thick pieces rather than slices; this is a plate for eating with your fingers.
2. Fold the ham, cut the apple into wedges and the celery into batons.
3. Put it all on a plate with the gherkins and the mustard on the side.

Contains milk, celery and mustard.
Pickles in vinegar often list sulphites. Check the jar.

RECIPE NOTES
A pub ploughman's runs to 80 g of cheese, a bread roll with butter and a sweet chutney. Here it is 30 g of cheddar, a slice of ham and the pickles, at 213 kcal.
The mustard is the sauce. Chutney would add about 30 kcal a tablespoon, mostly sugar.
