Support
Fuel8 has no account and no login, so most questions are settled in the app itself. The common ones are answered below. If yours isn’t, write to us.
Get in touch
Email marketing@letsgrowmore.com. It helps to say which iPhone and iOS version you’re on and what happened just before the problem — but please don’t send us your food diary or health details. We can’t see them and we don’t want a copy.
Common questions
Change my calorie or macro targets
Settings → Daily targets. Every number is editable, including the macros in grams. Type over one and Fuel8 stops recalculating it behind your back; there’s a button to hand it back if you change your mind. The same screen explains which formula produced the original figures.
Correct or delete something I logged
Long-press the item on Today, then Edit or Delete. Editing lets you change the portion and the meal, but not swap the food itself — an edit that could quietly turn last night’s salmon into chicken would be worse than deleting the row and adding the right one.
Log something I forgot yesterday
Tap the date in the title bar at the top of Today, or use the arrows either side of it, and pick the day. Everything you add then goes to that day, and the app says so on the button before you commit. Future days aren’t allowed.
A barcode isn't recognised
You can type the nutrition panel in yourself and attach it to that barcode, with a per-100 g or per-serving switch because labels differ. From then on that product resolves on your phone with no connection. If your device can’t run the scanner you’ll get a keypad to enter the digits instead.
Voice logging says it isn't available
Fuel8 only uses on-device speech recognition, so your voice never leaves the phone. On a device or in a language where iOS can’t recognise speech locally, Fuel8 refuses to fall back to the server version and offers typing instead. That’s deliberate, not a fault.
Connect or disconnect Apple Health
Settings → Apple Health shows exactly which types are read and written. Permissions themselves live in Apple’s Health app, under Sharing → Apps. The same screen can remove the samples Fuel8 wrote — only its own, never anything you or another app recorded.
Delete everything Fuel8 holds
Settings → Delete all my data. One screen, no network needed, no account to close. It wipes your log, weight history, profile, targets and saved plates, and offers separately to remove the Health samples Fuel8 wrote. If any part fails it tells you which part rather than reporting success.
Export my data
Not available yet — Fuel8 has no export feature today. Everything you log is on your own phone, but there is no export button, and we’d rather say so than imply otherwise.
I deleted the app and my log is gone
It is, and it can’t be recovered. Fuel8 has no account and no server, so there is no copy of your diary anywhere but the phone it was on. Deleting the app removes its container and everything in it. That is the trade for a tracker that never uploads what you eat, and it’s worth knowing before you reinstall expecting your history back.
Questions about the 8 Week Challenge
The 8 Week Transformation Challenge is a separate paid programme run by a different team, with its own app. Billing, start dates, refunds and coaching are theirs rather than ours, so those are best asked on their own site. Anything about Fuel8 itself, including the Fuel8 code, we can help with.
