Add it to your shopping list and keep looking. The list adds the quantities up across everything you pick.

Method

  1. Put the oats in a dry frying pan over medium heat with a pinch of salt and toast, stirring, for three minutes until they smell like biscuits.

  2. Drizzle the honey over the hot oats, stir for thirty seconds until it coats them and starts to bubble, then tip them onto a plate to cool and crisp.

  3. Spoon the yogurt into a bowl, add the blackberries and scatter the oat clusters over just before eating.

Worth knowing

  • Fifteen grams of oats toasted with a teaspoon of honey is 78 kcal. The same crunch from shop granola is 25 g at least, which is 113 kcal, and most of it sugar.
  • The oats go soft within a couple of minutes of hitting the yogurt. Add them last.
