Peeled weight.
- Almonds15 g
Flaked, toasted for two minutes in a dry pan.
- Honey1 tsp (7 g)
- Ground cinnamonA good pinch
Method
Cut the top and bottom off the orange, stand it up and cut the peel away in strips following the curve, then slice it into rounds and pick out any pips.
Toast the almonds in a dry pan for two minutes until they colour at the edges.
Stir the cinnamon through the yogurt, lay the orange rounds over it and finish with the almonds and honey.
Worth knowing
- Grate a little of the orange zest into the yogurt before you peel it. It costs nothing in calories and doubles the flavour.
- Blood oranges from January to March make this look and taste better. Same numbers.
