Ingredients
- Lean ham, sliced80 g
Cooked deli weight, as sold.
- Light cream cheese25 g
- Gherkins40 g
- Wholegrain mustard1 tsp (6 g)
- Black pepperTo taste
Method
Mix the cream cheese, mustard and pepper together in a small bowl.
Spread it thinly over each slice of ham. Cut the gherkins lengthways into batons and lay one along one edge of each slice.
Roll up tightly around the gherkin and cut each roll in half.
Worth knowing
- A gherkin in the middle gives the crunch that makes these worth eating rather than a sad rolled slice of ham.
- Light cream cheese carries the mustard and is 39 kcal for the 25 g used across the whole plate.
