Cooking this one?

Add it to your shopping list and keep looking. The list adds the quantities up across everything you pick.

Method

  1. Trim the celery and cut each stick in half so the pieces sit flat. Pull off any strings from the outer edge with a peeler if they bother you.

  2. Spread the peanut butter along the groove of each piece with the back of a teaspoon.

  3. Press the raisins into the peanut butter in a line and eat straight away, before the celery goes limp.

Worth knowing

  • Celery is the one vegetable on the list that carries an allergen flag of its own, and it is in the salad drawer of most fridges. The flag is real: it is one of the fourteen the packet has to declare.
  • Almond butter at the same weight is about the same calories and swaps the peanut flag for a tree nut one.
