Ingredients
- Banana1 medium, about 100 g
Frozen in chunks. Non-negotiable for the texture. Peeled weight. A medium banana is about 100 g without the skin.
- Cocoa powder2 tsp (6 g)
- Pea protein powder1 scoop, about 30 g
- Unsweetened soya milk80 ml
- Hemp seeds, hulled10 g
- Raspberries60 g
- Dark chocolate, 85%1 square (5 g), grated
Method
Put the soya milk, cocoa and pea protein in the blender first and run it for ten seconds.
Add the frozen banana and blend in bursts, scraping down the sides, until it is thick, glossy and holds a peak.
Spoon into a bowl and top with the raspberries, hemp seeds and grated chocolate.
Worth knowing
- Hemp seeds are about a third protein by weight, more than any other seed on the table, and 10 g adds about 3 g of it with a nutty taste that suits chocolate.
- Only 80 ml of soya milk. More and it stops being a bowl. If the blender will not turn over, add a tablespoon at a time.
