Ingredients
- Feta50 g
- Tomato150 g
- Olives, pitted6 olives, about 24 g
- Red onion20 g
- Olive oil1 tsp (4 g)
- Dried oreganoA pinch
- Black pepperTo taste
- SaltA pinch, for the tomatoes
Method
Slice the tomatoes thickly, salt them lightly and leave them for five minutes so they give up some juice.
Slice the onion as thinly as you can and put the feta on the plate in one piece.
Arrange the tomatoes, onion and olives around the cheese, pour the tomato juice and the oil over and finish with oregano and pepper.
Worth knowing
- The dressing is the tomato's own juice with a teaspoon of oil. The usual glug from the bottle would add 100 kcal to a 235 kcal plate.
- Protein is only 10 g here. Feta is more fat than protein, and this is a plate for taste rather than for after training.
