Ingredients
- Chia seeds15 g
- Kefir150 ml
- Blackberries80 g
- Honey1 tsp, about 7 g
Method
Stir the chia into the kefir with the honey in a jar. Kefir is thicker than milk, so it needs a proper stir to get the seeds moving through it.
Stir again after five minutes and put it in the fridge for four hours or overnight.
Crush a third of the blackberries with a fork and swirl them through the set pot, then sit the whole ones on top.
Worth knowing
- Kefir is already thick, so 15 g of chia sets it where 20 g would be needed with milk. That saves about 20 kcal and stops the pot going rubbery.
- Blackberries and kefir are both sour. The teaspoon of honey is doing more work than it looks.
