- Quark100 g
- Sourdough1 slice, about 50 g
- Fresh figs2 figs, about 100 g
- Honey1 tsp, about 7 g
- Pistachios, shelled8 g, about a dozen
Shelled weight. In the shell, about half is shell.

Method
Stir the honey and a pinch of salt into the quark.
Toast the sourdough and spread the quark over it thickly while it is hot.
Slice the figs and lay them on top, then scatter the pistachios.
Worth knowing
- Quark is the reason a sweet toast comes out at 18 g of protein. Ricotta in the same spot has a little less protein and 11 g of fat per 100 g where quark has almost none.
- Figs are only worth it in late summer. Out of season, a sliced pear does the same job.
