Ingredients
- Gluten-free oats40 g
Dry weight. Certified, which is the only thing that separates them from ordinary oats in the numbers.
- Water200 ml
- Skyr150 g
- Peach1 medium, sliced (130 g)
- Pistachios, shelled10 g
Shelled weight. In the shell, about half is shell.
- Honey1 tsp (7 g)
- SaltA pinch
Method
Microwave the oats, water and salt in a large bowl at 800 W for two minutes, stir, then one minute more.
Let it stand for a minute, then spoon the skyr over the top.
Lay the peach slices on, scatter the pistachios and drizzle the honey over the peach.
Worth knowing
- A ripe peach needs no cooking. A hard one, sliced and microwaved on top of the oats for the last minute, softens enough.
- Gluten-free oats are the only change from ordinary porridge here, and it is only a change if you need it. They cost about twice as much.
