  • Skyr150 g
  • Banana80 g

    A small banana, or most of a medium one. Peeled weight. A medium banana is about 100 g without the skin.

  • Peanut butter10 g

    Two level teaspoons. Warming it means 10 g covers the whole pot; cold, it sits in one lump. The kind that is peanuts and salt. Sweetened spreads carry more carbohydrate.

  • Ground cinnamonA pinch
  • SaltA few flakes

Method

  1. Warm the peanut butter in a small bowl for ten seconds in the microwave, or sit the bowl in hot water for a minute, until it pours.

  2. Spoon the skyr into a pot and slice the banana over it.

  3. Drizzle the peanut butter over in lines, drag a knife through them to marble it and finish with cinnamon and a few flakes of salt.

Worth knowing

  • Skyr, banana and peanut is the same combination as a peanut butter and banana sandwich at about half the calories, with the protein from the skyr in place of the bread.
  • Salt on the top is the difference between this tasting of peanut and tasting of sweet.
