Ingredients
- Sourdough2 slices, about 100 g
- Egg2 large (110 g)
- Skimmed milk40 ml
- Ground cinnamonHalf a teaspoon
- Vanilla extractA few drops
- Butter5 g
- Raspberries100 g
- Greek yogurt, 0% fat100 g
Method
Whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a shallow dish.
Lay the bread in and give each side a minute. Day-old sourdough soaks without falling apart.
Fry in the butter over medium heat for three minutes a side, until the outside is deep brown and the middle has set.
Serve with the yogurt and raspberries.
Worth knowing
- Two slices of sourdough are 60 g of carbohydrate and the bulk of the calories. The eggs and yogurt are where the 35 g of protein comes from.
- Five grams of butter is enough to brown two slices in a non-stick pan. It is weighed because the usual knob is four times that.
