Ingredients
- Greek yogurt, 0% fat150 g
- Pomegranate seeds50 g
- Pistachios, shelled12 g
Shelled weight. In the shell, about half is shell.
- Honey1 tsp, about 7 g
- Ground cinnamonA pinch
Method
Chop the pistachios roughly so some are dust and some are halves. Both textures matter.
Spread the yogurt over the base of a shallow bowl rather than heaping it, so the toppings sit in a layer.
Scatter the pomegranate and pistachios over, dust with cinnamon and drizzle the honey last so it stays in threads on top.
Worth knowing
- Half a pomegranate gives about 50 g of seeds. Bash the back of it with a wooden spoon over a bowl and they fall out.
- The 5% yogurt at the same weight adds about 60 kcal and tastes richer. Either is right; the numbers just differ.
