Ingredients
- Plum2 plums, about 120 g
- Greek yogurt, 0% fat150 g
- Honey1 tsp, about 7 g
- Ground cinnamonA pinch
- WaterA splash
Method
Halve and stone the plums and cut each half in two. Put them in a small pan with the cinnamon, honey and a tablespoon of water.
Cook over medium heat for five to six minutes, stirring now and then, until the plums slump and the liquid turns to a syrup. Take it off before they turn to purée.
Spoon the yogurt into a bowl and pour the plums and their juice over while still warm.
Worth knowing
- Hot fruit on cold yogurt is one of those things that works better than it should. Make the plums first and the yogurt stays cold enough to matter.
- A batch of six plums cooked the same way keeps three days in the fridge. A third of it is the amount here.
