Ingredients
- Skyr200 g
- Pear1 medium, about 170 g
- Pecans15 g
- Maple syrup1 tsp (7 g)
- Ground cinnamonA pinch
Method
Quarter and core the pear and slice it thinly, skin on.
Warm the pecans in a dry pan for two minutes, then break them up roughly.
Spoon the skyr into a bowl, fan the pear over it, add the pecans and drizzle the maple syrup across the top with the cinnamon.
Worth knowing
- Pecans are 70% fat and 6.9 kcal a gram. Fifteen grams is about eight halves and is the number to weigh here.
- A ripe pear needs nothing done to it. An underripe one is better cut thin and fried in the dry pan alongside the pecans for three minutes, which softens it and brings out the sugar without adding any.
